• Our fleets and projects feature a Serial Hybrid Propulsion System, harnessing multiple benefits such as emission reduction, noise pollution prevention, and efficient energy use by recharging batteries during engine operation.
Solar panels onboard generate renewable energy, reducing reliance on traditional power sources.
• We utilize Seadamp PLUS technology, converting wave energy into electricity during mooring to recharge batteries, furthering our commitment to sustainability.

Serial Hybrid Propulsion System

Wider has always been committed to constant innovation in order to attain 100% electric propulsion. To us electrifying yachting is much more than a pay-off. It is the aim and the mission of the company.

Seadamp PLUS technology

Wave energy is an inexhaustible source that does not pollute and can produce large amounts of usable energy with potential efficiency. The integrated Seadamp PLUS system allows the recovery of energy dissipated during mooring and converts it into electrical current to keep the onboard batteries charged.

Solar Panels

The WiderCat 92 is equipped with solar panels covering an area of 140 m², capable of generating up to 35 kWh under favorable conditions. The solar panels, in combination with the Wider PMS, are sufficient to meet the power needs of the hotel services while mooring and allow for 4 hours of navigation at a speed of 6 nautical miles entirely on electric power, thus minimizing noise and vibration levels.

In shipyards and offices

• At our shipyard and offices, solar panels atop our Fano facility produce renewable energy, reducing our environmental footprint.
• To minimize plastic waste, we’ve implemented initiatives like providing reusable water bottles, promoting reusable cutlery, and opting for paper shoppers over plastic.
• Our company jackets, made from 95% recycled polyester, reflect our dedication to sustainable materials and practices.
